Floor 7 is undoubtedly one of the hardest floors of Spiral Abyss, due to the shields that the Fatui can get which are difficult to break unless Elemental attacks are used. However, once you have reached a higher level, you can redo this floor to test out your CRIT DMG, as mentioned in my previous article about building CRIT DMG. Do bring Cryo and Electro characters for both of these halves to ensure that you can break the shields of Electro and Cryo enemies respectively. This article will detail the tips for Floor 7 of Spiral Abyss, and how to benefit from the specific Ley Line Disorder to get all the possible rewards.
Floor 7 Tips
The Ley Line Disorder for this floor makes it important for you to bring characters with high CRIT DMG/CRIT Rate, as there is a 120% increase in CRIT DMG. CRIT Hits also generate Elemental Particles and Orbs, so bringing characters with high CRIT Rate will help. A variety of different elements are required to break the various shields, so do check the Party Setup below to ensure you bring the right elements. Avoid bringing Barbara for the first half due to the Cryo-Gunners that can affect you with Cryo and will cause you to be Frozen.
Party Setup
I have included 2 party setups, one with mostly F2P available characters and another that includes 5 star characters. For the first half of the floor 6, bring a Pyro character and an Electro character to break the shields of Cryogunners and a Cryo support character to break the Electrohammer Vanguard. You might want to bring a Geo character if possible for the first half as well, to break the shield of the Geochanter Bracer quickly. In the second half, bring an Electro and Cryo character to break the Electrohammer Vanguard and Cryogunner shields.
This is the Free to Play setup above, I would recommend bringing Xiangling and Fischl particularly in the first and second halves of floor 7 to break the shields. For each setup, ensure that you bring a Main DPS, which could differ based on your various character builds for Xiangling, Fischl and Noelle while Diona provides healing with her Ultimate. In the second half, Kaeya can be used as Main DPS, Lisa and Xingqiu as Sub DPS and Barbara as Utility.
This is the non-Free to Play setup, where Diluc is Main DPS, Fischl is Sub DPS and Xiangling helps to make elemental reactions with Guoba, while Diona heals. Here, the double Pyro setup gives the Fervent Flames benefit for higher ATK. For the second half, Keqing is the Main DPS, with Xingqiu and Kaeya as Sub DPS and Barbara as Utility. The double Hydro setup gives a shorter effect from Pyroslingers Pyro "Effect" and increased incoming healing. These careful considerations will allow you to have higher DMG output to complete the floor in time.
I have included my own setup below:
Hope this guide has been informative and helpful! I will be writing more guides for the remaining upper floors of Spiral Abyss that require 2 teams, do let us know in the comments if there are other guides you are interested in!
