Have you been too busy shooting to notice all guest characters in COD Warzone? We’ve got you: Today, we’ll be taking a look at all famous characters in Call of Duty: Warzone, Modern Warfare & Black Ops Cold War, and ways to acquire them.
These guest characters all come in bundles, most of which cost 2400 COD Points, which comes to around $20. The bundles feature the famous characters or Operator skins, legendary weapons blueprints, charms, calling cards, finishing moves, and watches.
List of Guest Characters in COD Warzone (Operators & Skins):
Down the list, you'll find all guest characters in COD Warzone:
#1 - John Rambo (Rambo)
The first two spots on our list are held by iconic 80s action heroes that appeared as guest characters in COD Warzone.
During the summer of 2021, Call of Duty: Warzone, Cold War and Mobile had all launched an event called “80s Action Heroes” - with two unique Operator bundles available for purchase.
One of them featured John Rambo - inspired by a legendary action hero portrayed by Sylvester Stallone.
Players could get their hands on this Operator by purchasing the Rambo Operator Pack in the game’s store. Aside from the expected legendary weapon blueprints, the Rambo bundle came with 2 finishing moves, one of which featured Rambo’s signature, bow and arrow.
The Rambo Operator Pack was available in the store from May 20th to June 18th, 2021.
#2 - John McClane (Die Hard)
The second 80s legend is the main character from the Die Hard series - John McClaine. Originally played by Bruce Willis, McClaine has become a staple for many cocky and charismatic characters to come.
Just like Rambo, John McClane was available during the “80s Action Heroes” event in Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, and CoD: Mobile, in the Die Hard Operator Pack.
As opposed to some other characters on this list, both Rambo and John McClane are not just skins for existing Operators to put on. Rather, they are unique, standalone Operators.
Both Rambo and John McClaine are affiliated with the NATO faction.
#3 - Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre)
Getting into a creepier territory of the guest characters in COD Warzone, the next spot on our list goes to one of the most famous movie serial killers - Leatherface!
Leatherface became one of the available skins for the Operator Velikan during “The Haunting of Verdansk” event in Call of Duty: Warzone, Modern Warfare, and Black Ops Cold War. Buying The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Bundle unlocks the Leatherface skin, and the Velikan Operator, in case players didn’t have him unlocked before.
Leatherface was popularized by the 1974 movie “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, with the chainsaw being his signature weapon. He is largely inspired by Ed Gein - a real-life murderer who wore masks made of actual human skin.
#4 - Billy the Puppet / Jigsaw (Saw)
Live or die… Make your choice.
Billy the Puppet - or Jigsaw - is another Operator skin that came out during “The Haunting of Verdansk” in CoD: Warzone. Players can unlock him by purchasing the SAW Bundle. Billy the Puppet is not one of the unique Operators in the game; he comes as a skin for Morte.
Made famous by the “Saw” movie franchise, Billy is a mask used by John Kramer - the actual main antagonist of the series, otherwise known as the Jigsaw Killer.
Even though “The Haunting of Verdansk” event has ended, these 2 previous bundles should still be available in the store for everyone, appearing from time to time.
#5 - Judge Dredd
The embodiment of justice and order - Judge Dredd - is instantly recognizable by his uniform. He is a law enforcer of a dystopian city, Mega-City One, with a granted ability to be the judge, jury, and executioner of the streets.
Judge Dredd was available in the Tracer Pack: Judge Dread Limited Time Bundle as a skin for the Ingo Beck Operator. The bundle was available from September 14th until October 14th.
Unlike the other bundles, this one actually comes with two Operators. One, as shown above, is the standard one most people might be familiar with. However, the second one is a black-and-white rendition of the character, reminiscent of the original comic’s design.
The bundle also comes with the ”Lawgiver” pistol, issued to all judges, along with the usual content expected in Call of Duty bundles.
#6 - Ghostface (Scream)
The leaks which started a while ago, showing Ghostface - one of the most recognizable characters in movie history - finally found their way into Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
Along with the next entry on our list, Ghostface was launched as an Operator during the recent Call of Duty event - “The Haunting”. He is available in the Scream Operator Bundle, along with his signature Buck 120 knife and the expected weapon skins and blueprints.
Ghostface is a mute killer from the famous ‘Scream’ movie series. However, the killer wearing the mask isn’t the same throughout the series. Ghostface’s mask and costume aren’t hard to come by, so several people have taken the advantage of the anonymity.
#7 - Frank the Rabbit (Donnie Darko)
Often falsely dubbed ‘Donnie Darko’, Frank is the second popular character introduced during “The Haunting” event in Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
He is available in the Donnie Darko Tracer Pack, as a skin for the Baker Operator. Yes, Frank isn’t one of the standalone Operators like Ghostface, but a skin for an already existing Operator.
Frank the Rabbit (Franklin Anderson Jr.) belongs to the ‘manipulated dead’ in the film ‘Donnie Darko’. He is presented as an anti-hero, whose goal is to help Donnie - the protagonist - correct the timeline of his original universe. Both Donnie and Frank (with the mask off) are played by Jake Gyllenhaal.
Notable Mentions (Famous Characters in COD, but Not Quite)
While the abovementioned guest characters were confirmed, the ones you'll see below are clear references to famous characters, but they haven't been confirmed:
#8 - Ellen Ripley (Alien)
While not explicitly referring to anyone in particular, ‘The Outrider’ skin for Charly, one of the Operators in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, looks extremely similar to Ellen Ripley, the protagonist of the ‘Alien’ series.
Ellen Ripley is played by the American actress Sigourney Weaver.
This skin was made available back in Season 4 inside the Earth Expeditionary Force Bundle for 1600 COD Points (as opposed to 2400 COD Points like other bundles listed so far).
#9 - Steve Forsing (Sicario)
Another Operator skin not explicitly naming anyone - but fans of the ‘Sicario’ series will instantly recognize this skin for Wyatt. It was available in the store in the Professional Bundle.
Played by Jeffrey Donovan, Steve Forcing is a legendary military operative who served in the Middle East and Europe during the global war on terror and is beloved by many ‘Sicario’ fans.
