How to Complete Close Air Mission in Modern Warfare 2 (2022)

Close Air mission starts with you as the air support this time. You need to make recon of the lands below. You can toggle different visual modes by pressing Square on PlayStation. Scan for enemies, vehicles, and more. Right now follow the truck until it stops on the road.

Move your attention towards the greenhouse and scan for further enemy units. After the recon, you can engage with the hostile enemies, but make sure to avoid shooting down any civilians. Use the 25MM cannon to limit the casualties. Be sure that the targets are armed because if you shoot at civilians it will immediately stop the mission. It can be frustrating at times.

You can recognize enemies because they are holding guns in their hands and most civilians have hats above their heads. The weapon you are shooting has a short delay to make sure to time your shots and predict enemy movement.

Protect your squad that is moving in. They are the ones with pulsating light flashes around them from the sensors. Hassan is once again nowhere to be seen inside the building. Wait until civilians run away and shoot down enemy units that are approaching the building.

Your squad moves towards the greenhouse. Toggle your vision mode to see inside the greenhouse. You are now able to shoot the greenhouse down until it fully disappears.

Move your attention to the compound and cover your squad. You can switch to the 40MM gun instead of 25MM if you prefer. Once again stay calm because you might find yourself failing the mission due to killing the civilians which is very tricky here because the targets aren't clearly marked. Just use hats and guns to your advantage.

Wait for your squad to clear the building. Finally, you have visuals of Hassan inside the building on the second floor. Watch out for the military convoy that is approaching the compound. Cover your squad from the cars that are approaching in a quick fashion. Close Air ends so does the air support.
