She is of Ecuadorian descent, and she is an actress and activist who began her career on Colombian X Factor. Most recently she acted in many foreign roles in the TV Series MalaYerba, or Dulce Obsesión the movie.
María also played roles in many other productions like El Barón, Tarde Lo conoci or En otra piel. Many of these titles will not say much to an average viewer but she is a rising star and the role in Modern Warfare 2 might be an international breakthrough for her career.
