This one is easily missable, so pay attention.
To get the Chocobo & Moogle summon, players need to find the materia, with will be in one of the vents present in Chapter 6, "Light the Way". Most specifically, you can find a way to the materia by reaching a vending machine offering the disc "Electric de Chocobo". After reaching the machine, you need to interact with the terminal next to it and complete its challenge to get access to the materia.
- Note that if you decide to leave without checking the vents first, the party will ask you to confirm your decision, giving you a chance to go back.

Now is when things get serious, the sea god Leviathan is, without any shadow of a doubt, one of the game's toughest challenges, and best summons.
To get its summoning materia, players need to face him and the simulation and win, the fight will be available in Chapter 14 "In Search of Hope".
Different from the other VR bosses until then, Leviathan offers players a real test of skill. With that said, the use of Barrier and Healing materias is essential in the fight, since the sea serpent can almost one-shot the party with its AoE.
Bahamut

Here he is, the strongest summon in the game, the party's best friend, and strongest foe.
To get the right to summon Bahamut, players need to complete all the 19 Battle Intel reports offered by Chadley, and then face him in the simulation.
If you finish the game without unlocking him, don't feel disheartened, since you can start the game's New Game Plus right away, giving you an almost 100% chance of facing the almighty dragon.
