Genshin Impact, mihoYo's latest success, is a game where players can battle many different enemies and explore vivid and fascinating involvements, as they travel across all the nations of Teyvat in the search of the Seven Archons and their lost sibling. And to be able to face all the dangers present in the road, all the playable characters in the game can make use of Elemental Powers, in the case of all except for the Traveller and a few others, granted by them by the Gods in the form of Visions, which can interact with each other and create many reactions which can them increase both their overall damage, and your survivability. With that said, here's a guide to all elemental reactions present in Genshin Impact.
A Guide to All Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact, How to Trigger Them, and What They All Do
Vaporize / Melt
For many, the two best reactions in the game, since Vaporize, which can be produced by a reaction between Hydro and Pyro, and Melt, which is the fruit of a reaction between Pyro and Cryo, increase the damage of the Elemental ATK which generated the reaction up to 2 times plus the character's Elemental Mastery total.
As we said above, you can create the reaction in combat by attacking enemies infused with Hydro/Cryo with Pyro, or vice versa. Since the reaction increases the overall damage of the attack, it is the only reaction in the game that can CRIT.
Overloaded
Created when Pyro and Electro interact, the Overloaded reaction causes an explosion dealing damage. The amount of damage is directly related to the level and the Elemental Mastery value of the character that generated the reaction.
Electro-Charged
A reaction that can be produced by the interaction of Hydro and Electro, or vice versa. Electro-Charged causes its targets to suffer Electro damage over a specified time and will be afflicted by both Hydro and Electro as well, allowing opportunities for more reactions.
Frozen
The Frozen reaction is produced when Hydro and Cryo come into contact, freezing their target upon contact. Enemies affected by the reaction will be frozen in place.
Frozen enemies can be shattered by Claymore attacks, Plunge attacks, Geo damage, and explosion damage, which will cause them to suffer high physical damage.
Superconduct
The Superconduct reaction can be triggered by applying Cryo to a target already inflicted by Electro, or vice versa, which causes a Cryo explosion that deals damage to the target and lowers their Physical resistance by 40% for 12 seconds. All enemies caught in the explosion will suffer the debuff.
Swirl
The Swirl reaction is produced when Anemo enters in contact with Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo, dealing element damage in a Small AoE as well as applying the determined element status to foes.
The Swirl reaction will deal extra damage based on the current character Elemental Mastery and level.
Crystalize
The Crystalize reaction is generated when Geo comes into contact with Pyro, Electro, Hydro, or Cryo, and generates an elemental shard of the later element, which if caught by the character, will turn into an elemental shield.
Burning
The burning reaction can only be created by the fusion of Dendro and Pyro. Up until now, the only ways to produce the rection is by attacking Dendro enemies, like Dendro Samachurls, or the involvement, like grass, with Pyro attacks.
The reaction will cause those affected to take Pyro damage in small intervals during a specified time.
Genshin Impact is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices, and PC, via miHoYo's official launcher and in the Epic Games Store.
