Today we got a piece of new information regarding the Dying Light 2 Release Date. We got some huge Dying Light 2 Update with a short comedic skit involving answering inpatient fan’s questions. We got some other significant Dying Light 2 Updates.

Dying Light 2 Announcement Overview

First of all, Dying Light 2 was announced during E3 2018. We saw a bit of gameplay similar to the first installment in the Dying Light series. The game is based around fighting a lot of zombies in creative ways using your movement and environment. The parkour elements are the core mechanics of gameplay in this game. You can use various jumps, rope swings, wall runs, and many more moves in encounters with the undead.

At the E3 2019 event, we got another trailer for the game hyping up the progress and revealing the possible release date of the game. Back then it was scheduled to release in Spring 2020. We know that did not happen and for a long time, many players were asking themselves or the developers about the state of the game.

It could easily have been canceled and the information did not go out to the public just yet. However, that is not the case. The developers cleared the air with some huge news. More on that at the bottom of this article.

Today on March 17^th, 2021 via Discord we got information about the Dying Light 2 Release Date and the state of the game. We saw a brief comedy skit, that made a point that Techland [developers behind the Dying Light series] are listening to their fan base. The Dying Light 2 Release Date is this year, 2021. We got a logo at the end of the video that teases us that the game will come out this year which is awesome news. Today is a day that might come as a relief to many fans of the Dying Light franchise. We finally got confirmation about Dying Light 2 Release Date and also some other significant Dying Light 2 updates. We can expect even more news to come in the near future, probably around all of the other game updates and trailers around E3 time. For now, we can agree that the game looks incredible, and as a fan of the first game I can not wait for more information about the product, but I am glad that the Dying Light 2 Release Date is slated for this year. However, we have to keep in mind that all is always subject to change.
