The game is filled with powerful enemies, in various involvements, where sometimes, a single misstep may end your run and earn you a trip back to the House of Hades.
But rest assured, as you progressed through the story and deepen your relationships with the game's NPCs, you will have the opportunity to gain various companions, made to aid you in the battles ahead.
With that in mind, we will now tell you how to get all of Hades' available companions, and what effect each of them has on the battlefield.
How to Get All Companions in Hades: A Step-by-Step Guide
In Hades, six different characters can gift Zagreus with companions, each capable of changing the ties of a battle of different yet efficient ways. Even if they can only be called once per run, initially, that is.
Companion Battie

The companion given to Zagreus by the older sister of the Furies Megaera. Upon use, Megaera appears, dealing 25000 damage to all enemies in her AoE. The companion cannot be used against the Furies, and until given permission, against Hades ether.
- To unlock the companion, you will need to gift Megaera with Ambrosia for the first time.
Companion Mort

The companion given to Zagreus by Thanatos. Upon use, Tghanatos will appear, dealing 3500 dmg to all enemies in an AoE in front of Zagreus.
The companion cannot be used with Thanatos on the field, and initially, during the final boss fight.
- To unlock the companion, you will need to gift Thanatos with Ambrosia for the first time.
Companion Rib

Companion Rib is a companion given to Zagreus by Skelly. His companion creates a distraction on the field, provoking enemies to attack it until his health (250Hp) is completely depleted. Rib is the only companion that doesn't need permission to be used against Hades.
- To unlock the companion, you will need to gift Skeely with Ambrosia for the first time.
Companion Shady

Companion Shady is a companion given to Zagreus by Sisyphus. when called on the field, the companion will summon the former king and his loyal friend, Bouldy, to the battlefield. where they will deal 1000 damage in a wide AoE, and then drop a small amount of Charon's Obol, Darkness, and up to 50 Health in the field.
- To unlock the companion, you will need to gift Sisyphus with Ambrosia for the first time.
Companion Fidi

Companion Fidi is a companion given to Zagreus by Dusa (Medusa).
When used in battle, the companion will summon Dusa to your aid, who will, in turn, fire petrifying beams at the enemies for 30 seconds.
- To unlock the companion, you will need to gift Dusa with Ambrosia for the first time.
Companion Antos

The companion given to Zagrus by his friend, ally, and mentor Achilles.
When used in battle, Companion Antos will summon both Achilles and Patroclus to the battlefield. They will then deal 1500 damage to 2 foes in rapid succession.
- To unlock the companion, you will need to gift Achilles with Ambrosia for the first time, after reuniting him with his beloved.
