Overwatch 2 Sojourn Guide – Abilities
Weapon (Primary Fire) – Railgun: Sojourn rapidly fires projectiles and every shot deals 9 damage to the enemy. Her weapon has 45 ammunition in the magazine and reloads it in 1.2 seconds. Hitting enemy or enemy barriers generate energy up to 100. You gain 5 energy per body shot, 10 energy per critical hit, 3.5 energy per shot from armored characters, and 7 energy per critical hit from armored characters.
Weapon (Secondary Fire) – Secondary Fire: Sojourn fires generated energy in front of her that deals 30 – 130 damage, depending on stored energy and after 6 seconds without gaining energy the stored energy will decay at a rate of 50 per second.
Power Slide (Left Shift) – Ability: Sojourn slides at the speed of 14.3 meters per second and can go up to 16 meters in any horizontal direction. While sliding, Sojourn can jump. That will allow her to make a high leap and she will be able to easily reposition herself. You can shoot while sliding. The ability has 6 seconds of cooldown.
Disruptor Shot (E) – Ability: Sojourn launches an energy shot that slows and deals damage to enemies within it. This ability can deal up to 210 damage and stays up for 4 seconds, which after simple calculation shows that this ability deals around 52.5 damage per second. It has a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Overlock (Q) – Ultimate Ability: Sojourn applies to her railgun auto-charge for energy for a short duration and her Secondary Fire pierces through enemies. It lasts 9 seconds and needs around 1.2 seconds to fully charge energy from 0.

Overwatch 2 Sojourn Guide – Playstyle
As Sojourn, you will be playing in the medium range from the center of the fight so you need to consider heroes like Genji, Reaper, or Tracer to be on you often. Also, you can't hide from heroes like Widowmaker or Hanzo that will stay in the enemy's back lane and will try to eliminate you in the first order. That's why you need to be wary of your surroundings.

On the second hand, you can easily deal damage to tanks and that will allow you to generate energy pretty fast, compared to trying to hit small hitboxes of damage dealers that stay slightly behind big hitboxes of tanks such as Reinhardt or D.va. After generating 100 energy try hitting damage dealers with your Primary Shot. With a headshot, you have the potential to one-shot heroes with less than 250 health points.
Overwatch 2 Sojourn Guide can be good for people starting to play this hero, but can't teach you how to react to every scenario that happens in the match. There is also a possibility that you will need to change hero during the game because you will for example need someone that can take care of Pharah. In that case, better choices would be Soldier:76 or Widowmaker.
Is Sojourn In the Meta?
Sojourn is being played a lot since it's a new hero introduced to us in Overwatch 2. Her being meta is still questionable despite being praised by many high-level players.
Why do you ask? Well, Kirikos Kitsune Rush is a very powerful ultimate that allows other champions to conquer their downsides, but unfortunately, it's not the case for Sojourn. Her Overlock combined with Kitsune Rush does nothing. And nothing means basically nothing. Sojourns energy loads at the same speed with and without Kirikos Ultimate Ability. Kitsune Rush can change meta in any possible way or meta will stay as it is now, It's very unpredictable, but we can be sure of one. There is Kiriko in every ranked game and it's not a surprise.
